So the 2010 Jr. US Open ended today and it was a great time! The people at Princeton Lakes really did a great job with the tournament and made it a blast for everybody! The Wilson Bros. got to start off the morning rocking the mics and did some announcing for the jump event! It was a blast and hopefully they will let us announce sometime in the future again! Miss Texas made her appearance today and she was pretty awesome! She handed out all the awards, talked to everyone and seemed to really like the skiing, it was neat! Two of our Uncles live just outside Dallas and they came out to support us and it was great to have them come out and see us ski! K.C. and I both defended our slalom titles and we were both really pumped about that! There were a lot of great skiers here this weekend! Makayla Haw took the Girls Overall and Slalom titles, Lauren Morgan took the Girls Jump title and Nicole Nassar brought home the Gold in Girls Trick. For the Jr. Women Michaela Cooper got the gold in slalom, Michale Briant won Tricks and Maddie McCammon won Jump and Overall. In the boys event, it was K.C. in the Slalom, Chris Wharton in Jump and Josh Briant in Tricks and Overall. For Jr. Men, Brooks won Slalom and Storm Selsor made it rain gold medals with Golds in Trick, Jump and Overall. Thanks to everyone who came to the event and especially those who put it on!
